Karen Lazar, Executive Director
Prior to joining Chagrin Arts, Karen was the Director of Development at Hudson Montessori School for nine years. She has a strong passion for the performing arts and its power to provide a unique form of communication that transcends all cultural and social barriers. That passion is why she is so excited and energized about being a part of Chagrin Arts. Karen is originally from Pittsburgh but has called Cleveland home for the past 34 years. She and her husband Lee, who is the Executive Director of Rainey Institute in Cleveland, live in Solon with their dog, Dunkin. They have two married children: a son who is a public high school teacher in New York City and a daughter who owns a consulting firm in Boston. Karen’s interests include reading, traveling, baking and of course, the performing arts!
Lindsey Walsh, Director of Marketing
Lindsey graduated with a B.S. in Advertising and minor in Theatre from the University of Florida in 2012. Her love and enthusiasm for the performing arts comes from her extensive dance background that includes 20 years of formal training, performances, and competitions. She also served as Publicity Director and one of the choreographers for the University of Florida’s Dancin’ Gators. Lindsey is originally from California but has spent the majority of her life living in South Florida. She moved to Cleveland in June 2014 to be with her boyfriend, Aidan, who works as an engineer at Lincoln Electric. Prior to joining Chagrin Arts, Lindsey worked as the Campaign Creative Manager for DMEautomotive, an automotive direct mail company in Daytona Beach, FL. She is excited to be working at Chagrin Arts where she hopes that her passion for the arts and marketing expertise will help lead the organization to big things! Lindsey’s other interests include painting, traveling, interior decorating, cooking (and eating!).
